Business Development Executive – Vijayawada (Office-Based) We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Business Development Executive to join our team at VC Nutrifoods (4Kids Confectionery) , based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh . This role is primarily office-based , focused on building and sustaining strong customer relationships, supporting the field sales team, and deriving insights from data and conversations to drive business growth. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, numerical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Key Roles & Responsibilities Customer Communication & Relationship Management: · Act as a consistent point of contact for existing and prospective customers. · Maintain regular follow-ups through calls, emails, and digital platforms to ensure sustained engagement. · Understand customer needs, queries, and pain points, and coordinate solutions promptly. Collaboration with Field Sales Team: · Work closely with field sales executives to generate leads, track opportunities, and support closure. · Share customer insights and feedback with the field team to enable tailored sales strategies. · Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and follow-up documents for client meetings. Data Analysis & Reporting: · Collect, track, and analyze customer data, sales figures, and market trends. · Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and business insights to aid management decisions. · Identify patterns in numbers and conversations to suggest actionable strategies for growth. Business Development Activities: · Research new markets, potential customers, and business opportunities. · Support lead qualification and pipeline management through CRM tools. · Assist in marketing and promotional activities as needed to support brand visibility. Numerical & Analytical Aptitude: · Interpret sales and customer data to identify gaps, opportunities, and risks. · Evaluate revenue growth, margins, and customer performance using numerical analysis. · Generate insights that drive customer retention and upselling opportunities. Administrative & Support Functions: · Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and business opportunities. · Support internal coordination between sales, operations, and finance teams. · Ensure timely follow-up on payments, renewals, and client obligations. Qualification · BBM with 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Food/FMCG sector . · Should be able to read, write, and proficiently converse in English, Telugu & Hindi . · Knowing other South Indian languages is an added advantage . Location: Plot No. 17/A, APIIC State Food Park, Mallavalli Village, Bapulapadu Mandal, Krishna District, Vijayawada – 521111, Andhra Pradesh Department: Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC) Experience: 7–8 years ( Confectionery Industry only ) Job Summary: We are hiring a Quality Incharge to lead and manage QC & QA functions for our confectionery unit. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in chocolates, lollipops, or related products , and should have handled at least two FSSAI audits . This is a hands-on leadership role with strong people management and compliance responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes. Ensure full compliance with FSSAI regulations ; lead audit preparation and execution. Supervise the QA/QC team and enforce Good Manufacturing & Hygiene Practices (GMP/GHP) . Perform raw material and finished product quality checks . Maintain detailed documentation for regulatory and internal quality audits . Identify quality gaps and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) . Collaborate with Production and R&D teams for product improvements. Occasionally support R&D trials and new product development . Train team members on SOPs, hygiene standards, and quality systems . Required Skills: FSSAI audits, QC/QA, confectionery (chocolates/lollipops), people management, GMP, GHP, Telugu fluency, product inspection, documentation, raw material checks, R&D support, food safety knowledge (HACCP/ISO preferred) Eligibility Criteria: 7–8 years of experience in the confectionery industry only (no other industry). Must have faced at least 2 FSSAI audits in a leadership or responsible role. Strong team leadership and documentation/reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications: B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field. Certification in FSSAI, HACCP, or ISO 22000 is an added advantage.
