Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Regional Business Manager sets targets for their team and monitors their performance to ensure they achieve their goals. This includes analysing sales data, providing regular feedback to the team and making necessary plan adjustments. 2. He/ She manages and motivates their team to achieve their individual and team goals. This includes recruiting, training and coaching the team, providing ongoing support and creating a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration. 3. Regional Business Manager builds and maintains relationships with key customers. This involves understanding their needs and preferences, addressing their concerns and providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction. 4. He/She is responsible for staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity. This includes analysing market data, conducting research and using this information to make informed sales decisions. 5. Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement. 6. Responsible as a leader in ensuring & guiding team on correct implementation strategies in achieving the desired targets as per Business Plan. Preferred candidate profile 1. Achieve sales targets by growing business by appointing distributor (DSA). 2. Appoint/Lead the DSA Partners in respective state & cities. 3. Study the local market trend, reports, analysis to increase the sales. 4. Meet distributors, dealers & retailers on a regular basis to improve market share / volume. 5. Responsible for market information collection, category planning, and timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Proactively planning for liquidation of the ageing inventory by driving secondary sales through sales team members in the region. Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market. - Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives. Qualifications / experience required 1. Any Graduate preferably MBA Marketing 2. Minimum of 11 to 12 years of work experience preferably from Medical devices / FMCG / Pharmaceutical industry. 3. Entrepreneurial personality to run 100% operations as a region head 4. Must be a Self-Starter willing to take high degree of responsibility. 5. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts. 6. An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. 7. Strong Geographical knowledge.
