UX Designer

As a UX Designer at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in leading the evolution of the digital landscape and ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to innovate our digital offerings across various channels such as responsive web, mobile native, and voice. Key Responsibilities: - Own features from concept to delivery, showcasing strong interaction and visual design skills rooted in human-centered principles. - Design with responsive and mobile-first practices, contributing to a design system and collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments. - Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives while presenting effectively to stakeholders. - Proficiency in prototyping with Figma, conducting usability tests, and synthesizing insights. - Familiarity with service design, journey mapping, design tokens, and component-based architecture. - Experience in cross-platform design (iOS, Android, Web) and certifications/training in accessibility, design thinking, or UX strategy. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in real-world product design, problem-solving, and team collaboration. - Ability to manage product development UX, set strategic direction, manage risks, and oversee department efficiency. - Develop and implement policies and procedures, monitor financial performance, and conduct market research. - Collaborate with other functions/business divisions, lead complex tasks, set objectives, and coach employees. - Demonstrate leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver consistently excellent results. - Consult on complex issues, identify ways to mitigate risk, and communicate complex information effectively. - Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes by collaborating with other areas of work.
