User Experience Engineer II (React.Js)

Role Overview: As a part of the Expedia Flights team at Expedia Group, you will be involved in designing cutting-edge tech solutions to make travel smoother and more memorable. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, debug, and modify features and services to enhance the experience of Flights customers on a daily basis. - Write clean code using object-oriented and functional design principles, data structures, and algorithms. - Contribute to the development of a companywide library of web components. - Create unit, integration, and automated acceptance tests to support continuous integration pipelines. - Prioritize quality, performance, scalability, and resiliency in all development efforts. - Collaborate with various stakeholders including user experience designers, product managers, architects, and fellow engineers. - Participate in code reviews and promote best coding practices and principles. - Engage in a community of practice to share knowledge and insights. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of professional software development experience. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent related professional experience. - Strong coding skills in JavaScript/Typescript and familiarity with modern frameworks like React.js. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical details and challenges.
