The US Tax Manager will be responsible for reviewing and preparing complex US tax returns, managing client relationships, supervising tax staff, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with US tax regulations. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience working with Shared Services or Consulting CPA firms.

Responsibilities:

Review tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, Individuals, Trusts, Non-profits, Estates, and Gifts.
Prepare complex tax returns as required.
Coordinate with clients and CREs to gather complete and accurate tax information.
Review tax accruals and participate in meetings with auditors.
Manage client interactions and ensure timely delivery of services.
Communicate with clients, IRS, and other stakeholders as needed.
Conduct tax research and support special projects.
Lead, mentor, and train tax staff; delegate tasks effectively.
Attend professional development and training sessions.
Support business development initiatives and internal practice growth.
Perform additional accounting and tax duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

7+ years experience in preparing/reviewing US tax returns with a Shared Services or CPA firm in India.
1+ year experience managing a tax team.
Professional certification: CPA, CA, or EA (mandatory).
Graduation in Accounting/Finance; post-graduation preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of US tax regulations, multi-industry exposure.
Experience with CCH Access Tax & CCH Engagement (preferred).
Strong interest in building a long-term career in US taxation.
