Role Accountabilities Ensuring the effectiveness of day-to-day operations & Leading/managing people Meeting the expectations of key business stakeholders & A focus on delivery and results Responsible for assembling new plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts of the team on a daily basis. Lead the standardization of processes to create a more effective and efficient Shared Services organization. Undertake regular reviews with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Promote a culture of customer-centered service delivery and continuous service improvement to ensure customer needs and expectations, and Service Level Agreements are met. People Management Lead employees to meet the organisation's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment. Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the team in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures. Plan staffing levels and work with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ the right people within budgetary guidelines. Lead employees using a performance management and development process including goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning. Manage and maintain effective employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations and paid time off, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling. Deliver key people related activities in conjunction with HR Qualifications Degree Holder with relevant management experience in container / liner shipping industry Experience in shared service or back-office support environment an advantage Advanced/Expert knowledge of liner shipping operations, documentation and practices Technical Skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, data reporting/analytics Experience with DPA, RPA solution application, workflow and Lean principles an advantage.
