Key Roles and Responsibilities
complete life cycle of US IT recruitment
Sourcing & Screening:
- Sourcing and screening qualified IT candidates using various US job portals (
Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter
, etc.), social media, and internal databases. - Conducting in-depth phone screens to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Extensively utilizing
Boolean search
techniques and other advanced sourcing methods to target niche skills.
Client & Candidate Management:
- Presenting qualified candidate resumes to Hiring Managers/Clients and coordinating interview schedules.
- Maintaining continuous communication with candidates throughout the interview process to ensure a positive experience.
- Negotiating compensation, verifying references, and managing the offer to closure.
Compliance & Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of various
US Tax Terms (W2, 1099, Corp-to-Corp)
. - Clear understanding of different
US Work Visas (H1B, GC, US Citizen, EAD, OPT/CPT)
. - Ability to understand, explain, and hire for a wide range of
IT skills
(e.g., Java, .NET, DevOps, Cloud, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.).
Database & Reporting:
- Maintaining and updating Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like
Workday / JobDiva / Taleo / Bullhorn
with real-time candidate data. - Meeting or exceeding daily/weekly/monthly recruitment targets and metrics consistently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
2 to 6 years
of hands-on experience in US IT Recruitment/Staffing
.Domain Expertise:
Proven track record in closing candidates for various IT requirements (W2/C2C).Sourcing Tools:
Expert-level proficiency with US job boards and professional networking platforms.Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
are non-negotiable for effective interaction with US-based clients and candidates.Attitude:
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently in a target-driven, night shift environment
