The teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that promote a deep understanding of geographical concepts. They will inspire students to explore the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and apply geographical knowledge to real-world challenges. Key Responsibilities : Lesson Planning and Delivery Classroom Management Assessments and Evaluation Student Engagement and Development Curriculum Development and Resource Managemen t Required Qualifications : Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree in Mathematics (B.Sc. or B.A. in Mathematics). A Masters degree in Mathematics or Education (M.Ed. or M.Sc. in Mathematics) is preferred. A Bachelors degree in Education (B.Ed.) is required. Experience : Prior teaching experience, preferably in teaching mathematics to Classes 8-12, in a reputed school is highly desirable. Familiarity with the CBSE or ICSE curriculum and preparation for board exams is a significant advantage. Strong Subject Knowledge : In-depth understanding of mathematics, including topics such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Classroom Management : Ability to create a disciplined and engaging classroom environment. Problem-Solving Skills : Proficient in teaching complex mathematical concepts and fostering critical thinking. Technology Integration : Proficiency in using educational technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning. Assessment and Evaluation : Ability to design fair and effective assessments to gauge student learning and understanding. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Teamwork : Ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall learning experience.
