The teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that promote a deep understanding of geographical concepts. They will inspire students to explore the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and apply geographical knowledge to real-world challenges. Key Responsibilities : Lesson Planning and Delivery Classroom Management Assessments and Evaluation Student Engagement and Development Curriculum Development and Resource Managemen t Required Qualifications : Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Geography (B.A. or B.Sc. in Geography). A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.) is preferred. Experience : Prior teaching experience, preferably with Classes 6-10, in a reputed school is highly desirable. Familiarity with the CBSE, ICSE, or similar curriculum is a plus. Skills and Competencies : Strong Subject Knowledge : A deep understanding of physical, human, and environmental geography. Communication Skills : Clear and effective verbal and written communication. Classroom Management : Ability to create a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment. Technological Proficiency : Familiarity with digital tools like GIS, Google Earth, and educational software to support geography teaching. Assessment Skills : Ability to design and implement various forms of assessments to evaluate student understanding.
