The teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that promote a deep understanding of concepts. They will inspire students to explore the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and apply knowledge to real-world challenges. Key Responsibilities : Lesson Planning and Delivery Classroom Management Assessments and Evaluation Student Engagement and Development Curriculum Development and Resource Managemen t Required Qualifications : Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in English (B.A. in English Literature or similar). A Masters degree in English or Education (M.A. or M.Ed.) is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) is required. Experience : Previous teaching experience in English, preferably with Classes 6-7, in a recognized school is desirable. Familiarity with the CBSE or ICSE curriculum is a significant advantage. Skills and Competencies : Strong Subject Knowledge : Proficiency in both English language skills and literature. Classroom Management : Ability to create a disciplined and interactive classroom atmosphere. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Creative Teaching Methods : Ability to integrate innovative teaching strategies, multimedia, and project-based learning into lessons. Assessment Skills : Ability to design fair, comprehensive, and effective assessments to evaluate student progress. Empathy and Patience : A caring approach to support the learning and development of students at different proficiency levels.
