Our client is 37 years old company into diversified business. The company is one of the leading independent Liquid Storage Tank (LST) provider, specializing in the storage and handling of all liquid chemicals and oil products and has storage terminals at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust - JNPT (Navi Mumbai), Cochin Port Trust - Cochin and Mormugao Port Trust - Goa.Company is is also in the business of manufacturing of specialty chemicals, food preservatives and oil additives having two factories. JD Project Planner cum Cost Estimator We are looking for a project planner cum cost estimator to join our team. As a project planner cum cost estimator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining schedules, preparation of cost estimates for all tenders, Duties and Responsibilities As a Project Planner Develop baseline project schedule in line with contract requirements covering all activities from Engineering to commissioning. Liaising with project site planner to gather data with respect to project progress. Update and review planned vs actual project progress activity wise. Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members. Review & update DPR, WPR & MPR. Oversee schedules and risk management plans and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project target completion. Gather actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team. As a Cost Estimator Candidate should have work experience as a Cost Estimation Engineer for EPC/ Fabrication industry preferably API storage tanks, heavy structures, piping etc. Must have a clear understanding of all activities involved in the fabrication, erection of Bulk Liquid Storage tanks and pipeline works. Must be able to comprehend the tender drawings & specifications very clearly. Responsible for preparing cost estimate and budgets of related jobs and tenders. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelors degree in mechanical. 8-10 years of relevant experience in planning and estimation works on tankage projects. Time management, planning & Organisational skills. Methodological approach High Attention to detail Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of MS Excel, Planning software including MS Project, Primavera. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
