Role & responsibilities: Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Management Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality service. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain effectively. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). 2. Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, and mentor staff, including managers, chefs, and front-of-house employees. Foster a positive work environment and maintain high staff morale. Create work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. 3. Customer Experience Ensure exceptional customer service at all times. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally. Create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for guests. 4. Financial Management Manage the restaurant's budget, including controlling costs and optimizing revenue. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance, including sales, profit margins, and expenses. Develop strategies to increase profitability and meet revenue targets. Oversee payroll and ensure accurate financial reporting. 5. Marketing and Business Development Collaborate on marketing strategies, promotions, and events to attract and retain customers. Build partnerships with local businesses and suppliers. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth. 6. Compliance and Standards Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Uphold the brand's standards and values in all aspects of operations. Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards. 7. Reporting and Administration Prepare and present operational reports to upper management or franchise owners. Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and employee performance. Ensure proper documentation of incidents, maintenance, and inventory. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management, preferably in a leadership role. Note: PnL Knowledge is must Preferred candidate profile: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis. Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems. Knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
