Role & responsibilities Job Title: Power BI EngineerExperience: 3 to 6 years Location : Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune -HybridShift Time :- 2 PM To 11 PM Mid-level Power BI Engineer Responsibilities Reengineer MicroStrategy reports to migrate to Power BI Create data curation or aggregate tables in Snowflake. Create power BI reports using DAX functions, creation of semantic models in Power BI Create source to target mapping documents from the RPDs and business layer from Oracle Exadata to Snowflake Create complex Dashboards and report, data visualizations, analytical reports, paginated reports etc. Performance tuning of reports to handle high volume data, adhoc reports and canned reports experience Prior experience in using Embedded Power BI, Embedded for external customers. Use Microsoft CoPilot for power BI for generating faster code. Tools and technologies Power BI, Power Automate, M Query, DAX skills, High SQL Profiency, Data Engineering, Snowflake, Teradata, MicroStrategy, Azure and Snowflake cloud technologies Skills to Have Dedicated, highly motivated and a quick learner. Solid understanding of Power BI development. Proficiency in DAX and Power Query. Good problem-solving skills. Eyes for details in creating dashboards, UI/UX designing Solutioning for Reporting, Data Profiling, creating dynamic dashboards, requirements understanding and unit testing. Excellent team collaboration, meeting hard deadlines, working under intense pressure situations Preferred candidate profile Technologies (Must Have): Power BI (Desktop, Service) DAX, Power Query (M) SQL Technologies (Good to Have): Azure cloud platform Python Teradata and Snowflake.
