Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to input, update, and maintain accurate data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will be computer-savvy, efficient, and have a keen eye for detail to ensure the integrity of our data. Key Responsibilities: Enter data into systems and databases quickly and accurately Verify accuracy of data before entering it Update and maintain information on computer systems Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure files are not lost Respond to requests for information and access relevant files Comply with data integrity and security policies Perform other administrative tasks as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
