Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and operational management for the assigned hospital unit. Your main objective will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day operations of the unit to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and clinical best practices. - Monitor unit performance through KPIs such as bed occupancy, average length of stay, and patient satisfaction. - Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and support staff. - Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and mentoring for the team members. - Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development among the team. - Ensure delivery of evidence-based, compassionate care aligned with clinical guidelines. - Coordinate with clinical leads and support services to address patient care needs effectively. - Handle critical case escalations and grievances in a timely and efficient manner. - Develop and manage the unit budget, monitor expenditures, and optimize cost-efficiency. - Ensure proper maintenance and availability of medical equipment and supplies in the unit. - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as NABH, JCI, etc. - Participate in audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation standards. - Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and internal teams. - Report key metrics and updates to hospital leadership regularly. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field. - Minimum of 8-15 years of experience in healthcare management roles. - Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. - In-depth knowledge of clinical best practices and regulatory requirements.
