Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Specific Responsibilities Design clinical governance structure. To lead the initiatives and suggested changes in various clinical services in the hospital that impact quality of service. Develop and ensure implementation of various policies, protocols and SOP related to clinical services and clinical support services. Also revise policies based on customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction Contributes to the designing of various branding and promotional activities in coordination with the Head- Sales & Marketing Determine, recommends, controls and evaluates the departmental (Clinical & Non clinical support service) budgets Identify requisite clinical registrations with the government authorities and ensures compliance with the same. Ensure maximum utilization of resources & cost control in order to increase operating margins Keep abreast of advances in medicine, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance changes and financing options to support planning and make necessary recommendations to accomplish revenue targets Ensure all the equipments in all the departments are fully functional at all the times. Monitor the utilization of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, staff etc and analyse the data to support planning, risk management, need assessment for additional resources. Ensure completion of Credentialing and clinical privileging of clinical staff. To ensure smooth functioning of OPD, IPD and Diagnostics services and regularly monitor levels of customer service in all areas against Brand Standards. Also, develop action plans to address shortfalls in Standards Assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services depending on the workload & business projection Design internal reporting structures in close coordination with the respective HODs. Gather reports from various departments and conducts data analysis in terms of revenue generated by each specialty/ service and measure the gap with projected revenue targets. Analyse the reports generated by HIS and do variance analysis Forming committees for medical audit and TQM Ensure clinical audits are conducted as per plan. Review results of audit and ensure timely implementation of audit results To Act as first point of contact for communicating and implementing business decisions Maximize customer satisfaction (internal as well as external)by maintaining high level of service standard Regularly reviewing individual and team performance against objectives and providing feedback through 1:1 or team meetings. Manpower planning of staff with respective HODs. Create work schedules for staff according to workload, space and equipment availability to meet the business requirement and smooth work flow Recommend & implement policies to ensure retention of the high potential/performing employees EXPERIENCE PROFILE Experience 10 years of experience of relevant experience in same capacity Formal Qualifications MBBS/BDS/BPT Any Medical graduation , PG Degree in Hospitals Administration Technical Competencies Business forecasting & New lines of business, Manpower Planning & hiring, Quality Programs deployment, Developing client / doctor relations
