Visit our website to learn more about us. Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Bookkeeping, VAT, and Management Accounts team. This role involves managing bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, and compiling management accounts for our UK clients, ensuring all work meets the company's high standards and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: VAT Returns: Accurately prepare and submit VAT returns for assigned clients, ensuring compliance with UK VAT reg ulations.Bookk eeping: Hand le bookkeeping duties primarily in QuickBooks, with some responsibilities in XERO, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.Manag ement Accounts: Comp ile management accounts for clients, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.Balan ce Sheet Reconciliation: Reco ncile balance sheets with HMRC tax records, addressing any discrepancies swiftly and accurately.Deadl ine Management: Stri ctly manage deadlines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time according to company policy.Techn ical Expertise: Util ize your knowledge of balance sheets and VAT to maintain high standards in financial reporting. Required Qualifications and Experience: UK Accounting Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of UK accounting p ractices.Softw are Proficiency: Prof icient in QuickBooks and XERO; experience with Dext is essential.VAT K nowledge: Comp rehensive understanding of VAT and various VAT schemes, with the ability to manage complex VAT claims.Atten tion to Detail: A me ticulous approach to work with a focus on precision and accuracy.Commu nication Skills: Stro ng written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with UK-based clients and colleagues.
