About the Role

ByteFolio is looking for a passionate UI/UX Design Intern to create intuitive, engaging, and user-centric designs for our digital products. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to transform complex requirements into elegant and practical user interfaces. This is a chance to shape the user experience of our applications from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create user personas, user flows, wireframes, and sitemaps.
• Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of your designs.
• Help maintain and evolve our design system and brand guidelines.
• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, using user research and best practices as a foundation.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and thought process.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and interaction design.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus, but not required.
