UI Stencil.JS - Lead

As a UI Lead at Iris Software, you will be responsible for architecting and developing high-performance, visually appealing, and intuitive user interfaces using Stencil.js. Your role will involve collaborating with Java-based backend integration to ensure seamless end-to-end solutions. Here is what you can expect in this position: Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architectural design and development of UI components using Stencil.js with a focus on usability and visual design. - Define and enforce front-end standards, best practices, and UI/UX principles to deliver exceptional user experiences. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to UI developers, emphasizing user-centric design approaches. - Ensure seamless integration with Java backend services while maintaining a smooth user journey for users. - Optimize UI for speed, scalability, performance, and outstanding user experience. - Drive CI/CD practices for front-end deployments, ensuring continuous delivery of quality UI/UX. - Explore and integrate Agentic AI tools for UI modernization and development efficiency. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's in CS or related field. - 8-11 years of experience in front-end development with significant lead experience. - Expert-level proficiency with Stencil.js and web components. - Strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3. - Proven experience integrating with Java-based APIs. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD. - Strong understanding of core UI/UX principles, design systems, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design. - Excellent communication and leadership skills.
