UI Lead Engineer Reactjs

As a UI Lead Engineer at Birdeye, you will be responsible for enhancing the performance, reliability, and user experience of features while contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes. Your main responsibilities will include: - Actively engaging in resolving bugs and delivering new features to ensure high-quality technical solutions. - Supporting engineering and product teams in maintaining technical excellence, reliability, and user-friendly interfaces. - Mentoring and developing engineers within the team to foster their growth and career advancement. - Serving as a thought leader and mentor, providing guidance on technical, architectural, and design-related matters. - Estimating project efforts, identifying risks, and effectively managing project schedules to meet deadlines. - Driving team expansion by recruiting top engineering talent and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver end-to-end products and features. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with hands-on experience in developing web applications. - Strong expertise in Node.js and server-side technologies, focusing on building scalable and robust systems. - Extensive experience in React.js & Redux, Webpack, and ES6, with a track record of delivering high-quality UI components. - 6 years or more of total experience in software development. - Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role, with current technical proficiency. - Ability to facilitate consensus among stakeholders and effectively communicate between engineering and other teams. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges.
