UI Engineer

As a UI Engineer at MoEngage, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of an insights-led customer engagement platform trusted by 1,200+ global consumer brands. As a part of the Engineering team, you will explore cutting-edge technologies like Data Pipeline, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Spark, Samza, and more while having fun scaling MoEngage. Responsibilities: - Take complete ownership of the feature and find innovative ways to increase efficiency and application performance. - Implement Visual Designs in standards compliant and build efficient front-end systems. - Develop responsive designs, test cross-browser compatibility, and integrate markup across projects with developers. - Identify and research new UI technologies, suggest improvements to existing interfaces, and ensure assigned systems perform at scale. - Collaborate closely with the product management team to define and refine feature specifications. Skills Required: - 3+ years of product development experience with expertise in high-performance web applications. - Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript and single-page frameworks like ReactJS. - Deep expertise in Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3 with exceptional debugging skills. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, optimization techniques, debugging techniques, and cross-browser support. - Experience in optimizing applications for performance and scalability using CDN, caching, etc. - Knowledge of Node server, Service Workers, Webpack, Node, and Typescript would be a plus. - Basic awareness of application security practices and deployment techniques for front-end projects.
