UI Developer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The UI Developer creates interactive, high-quality user interfaces using Angular. This role works with functional scrum units to translate userrequirements into effective technical designs for risk management and complianceworkflows.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for the

platform.

Build reusable Angular components and services across application modules.

Modernize legacy AngularJS components to modern Angular framework.

Collaborate with PHP backend developers to integrate frontend components with

RESTful APIs.

Implement frontend performance monitoring using tools like Sentry UX Monitoring.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.

Phase out vulnerable third-party JavaScript libraries and modernize jQuery

implementations.

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Maintain adherence to security best practices and OWASP guidelines.

Participate in Agile sprints with a 10-week release cycle.

Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.

Familiarity with Angular Material, Agile/Scrum methodologies, AWS cloud services,

Docker containerized environments, and PHP backend APIs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Total exp - 6 - 8 Yrs

Front-end web development experience and hands-on Angular experience (Angular +; AngularJS migration experienceis a plus).

Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.

Experience with RxJS and reactive programming patterns.

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development,

or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

The initiative and ability to:

o Stay current with Angular features, frontend technologies, and security best

practices.

Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and security best

practices (OWASP Top 10).

Deep understanding of Angular architecture including modules, components,

services, directives, and pipes.

Proficiency in the following technologies:

o Angular (Angular 2+) and Angular CLI

o TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+)

o HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS

o RxJS and reactive programming

o Git and GitHub

o RESTful API integration

o Testing tools

o Frontend monitoring tools (Sentry or similar)
