UI Automation with Cypress

Role Overview: As a Cypress Automation Tester at Capco, a Wipro company, you will be responsible for API and UI Automation Testing, with performance testing. You will function as a QA Automation engineer, assisting in both automation and manual testing. Your role will report to the Project Manager. Successful candidates in this position are excellent communicators, problem solvers, and team players. Key Responsibilities: - Overall 6+ years of experience in API Automation, UI Automation, Performance testing, and Regression, maintaining Integration & Functional Test Coverage. - Hands-on experience on UI automation using Puppeteer/Cypress/Protractor (using Golang). - Experience with TypeScript / JavaScript / Cypress for UI testing. - Hands-on experience in API testing using Cucumber with Java or SoapUI or Postman. - Expertise in integration testing around REST calls, APIs calls, microservices. - Experience with Golang for writing automation tests. - Ability to build reference applications & review and edit API documentation. - Understanding the Ops deployment scenario to build appropriate test cases. - Hands-on experience on JMeter or any other performance tool. - Working knowledge of cloud is preferable - Experience with Cloud environment with Microsoft Azure. - Hands-on experience on Google Dev Tools. - Experience working in Agile teams. - Good understanding of Project life cycle with Automation architecture. Qualifications Required: - Degree and qualification level: BE/BTech/Mtech/MCA. - Years of specific experience: 6+ Years as an automation QA. - Knowledge of specific systems: Angular Application and Rest API, DevOps. - Desirable experience/skills/languages: Golang, NodeJs, TypeScript, JavaScript, Cypress, Cucumber, Postman, Puppeteer/Cypress/Protractor, JMeter, Cloud technologies, Google Dev Tools.,
