Job Description

Systems Engineering Assist in the design and development of UAV systems, including airframes, avionics, propulsion, and payloads. Support integration of subsystems to create fully functional UAV platforms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify system requirements and ensure technical alignment. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to validate system performance and reliability. Documentation Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for UAV systems, including: Design specifications Assembly and manufacturing guides Test plans and reports Operational and maintenance manuals Establish and adhere to documentation standards to ensure consistency and accuracy. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to document design changes and ensure traceability. Prepare regulatory compliance documents for UAV systems based on DGCA, and other relevant standards. Maintain version control and manage documentation repositories for easy access and updates. Regulatory Compliance Ensure all documentation aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide support during audits and certification processes. Communication Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams for documentation-related needs. Train end-users on how to interpret and use technical documentation effectively. Qualifications Education Bachelors or masters degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Experience 3+ years of experience in UAV systems or a similar role involving system design and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with UAV platforms and their subsystems. Technical Skills Strong understanding of UAV systems, including aerodynamics, avionics, and propulsion. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat). Familiarity with version control systems and document management software. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (DGCA, FAA, etc.). Experience with technical writing and process documentation. Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across teams and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with UAV manufacturing or assembly processes. Familiarity with automated documentation tools or scripting for document generation. Knowledge of advanced UAV technologies, such as swarming or AI-based systems. Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or defense.
