Tube Laser Operator

As a Laser Cutting Machine Operator at our company in Coimbatore, Sulur, you will be responsible for setting up and operating tube laser cutting machines such as Trumpf, BLM, Mazak, and Amada. Your key responsibilities will include: - Loading and unloading materials like tubes, pipes, and structural components onto the machine. - Adjusting machine settings according to material type, thickness, and job specifications. - Ensuring correct alignment and clamping of the workpiece. You will also be required to: - Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to understand tolerances, dimensions, and specified materials. - Inspect cut parts for accuracy, surface finish, and tolerances using measuring tools like callipers, micrometres, and gauges. - Identify and correct defects or misalignments during production. Additionally, you will need to: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning lenses, nozzles, and filters. - Troubleshoot machine errors, alarms, or cut quality issues and report any mechanical problems to maintenance or supervisors. - Maintain production logs, quality checklists, and machine maintenance records. It is important that you follow all safety guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards. Optional skills or additions that would be beneficial for this role include crane operation for moving heavy materials, experience with bevel cutting, rotary axis operations, or multi-axis machines, as well as cross-training on flat laser or other fabrication equipment. Qualifications required for this position are an ITI/Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience. We are looking to fill 4 positions for this role.,
