Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks to transport goods from one location to another, adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing of goods during transit.
Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered on the road.
Ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

Desired Candidate Profile

5-10 years' experience driving heavy trucks (trucking) with a focus on cargo handling and logistics operations.
Proficiency in operating various types of trucks, including those used for hazardous materials transportation if required.
Strong knowledge of local roads, highways, and traffic laws; ability to navigate through complex routes efficiently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; frequent bending, lifting, standing, walking, pushing, or pulling may be necessary.
