Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mechanical Design Engineer at TROESTER India. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for 3D modeling, detailing, and engineering drawing creation using Solid Edge and other CAD tools, with strong fundamentals in mechanical design and structural analysis. Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (Lead) Reporting to: Engineering Manager / Managing Director Responsibilities: •Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering concepts and principles •Utilize Solid Edge and other relevant software for 3D modelling, detailing and creating Engineering drawings for components and assemblies •Conduct Structural Analysis to validate designs and ensure compliances and performances requirement •Generate Bill of Materials and work closely with the procurement and manufacturing teams t to support production •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design issues, provide technical expertise and offer innovative solutions •Contribute to the design review process, offering insights and improvements to enhance product performance and manufacturability •Stay updated with industry trends, technologies and best practices in mechanical design and apply them to improve processes and designs •To work closely with the Head Quarters Design team and assist on all developments •Identify high-risk tasks or issues and drive to resolution in a timely manner. •Analyzing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks •Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals, while managing the schedule and budgets for the projects. Qualification : •We expect that you have a Diploma or Bachelor level education within relevant academic field (e.g. Engineering or Technology in Mechanical or Electrical or any relevant) •Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the industry related to Rubber / Tyre / Plastics / Cable / Combination. •Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards and manufacturing processes •Proficiency in conducting analysis using relevant software tools for structural, thermal and/or fluid dynamics analysis •Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. •Knowledge in Solid Edge, AutoCAD or MDT and Exposure to PLCs and other Automation Software’s •Knowledge on Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical Drawings, etc., •Solid language skills (verbal and written) in English are required. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Electrical Design Engineer at TROESTER India. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, power distribution, and ensuring the functionality and safety of electrical components. This role will primarily be based in Chennai, with the flexibility for some remote work. Position Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Lead) Reporting to: Engineering Manager / Managing Director Responsibilities: •Developing the control system architecture for machineries based on PLC, HMI and SCADA. •Component selection for control system based on given technical requirements and specifications. •Creating Control panel assembly, cable routing and controller schematic drawings. •Creation of BOM, Entry in ERP, Process planning data, Purchase co-ordination and Manufacturing support. •Reviewing the engineering / design changes & resolving quality related problems associated with design, final checking and release of engineering drawings for the development. •Knowledge in panel assembly / manufacturing process, experience in testing and troubleshooting of the assembled equipment will be an added advantage. •Technical support for new sales discussions. Qualification : •5-8 years of hands-on experience in developing the control system design based on PLC and HMI. •Diploma/Graduate engineer in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. •Proficiency in EPLAN for creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams is a must. •Hands-on experience in EPLAN (P8, Pro Panel, or Electric P8) is essential for this role. •Experience in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical will be an added advantage. •Expertise in selecting electrical parts for Control Panels and knowledge of UL standards. •Familiarity with Wiring drawing standards such as IEC and LVD. •Familiarity with Extrusion equipment, unit handling conveyor, or other related products and its associated control systems preferred. •Strong oral and written communication skills, essential for effective project management and collaboration.
