About the Role We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer who can take full ownership of building high-quality, scalable, and intuitive front-end experiences. You will lead UI architecture, drive component design, and define front-end best practices that power mission-critical financial and workflow applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex UX problems, designing systems at scale, and collaborating closely with product, backend, and design teams. Key Responsibilities UI Development & Architecture Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of large-scale React-based applications. Build reusable, modular UI components and internal UI systems that provide consistency across products. Translate Figma/design wireframes into high-performing, pixel-perfect interfaces. Own state management architecture (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, or equivalent). Performance & Scalability Optimize UI performance for speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and smooth user interactions. Improve rendering pipelines, reduce load times, and implement code-splitting & lazy-loading strategies. Ensure reliability under high usage (real-time dashboards, high-frequency events, financial data). Design System & UX Collaboration Partner with designers to define and evolve a scalable design system. Ensure UI/UX consistency across product lines and maintain brand guidelines. Give thoughtful feedback and challenge UX flows when needed for usability or access considerations. Quality, Testing, & Tooling Set up and maintain testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright). Establish and enforce UI code quality standards, linting, and automation. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Collaboration & Execution Work closely with backend/APIs to design efficient front-end integration strategies. Collaborate with PMs to convert business requirements into technical UI specs. Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and product roadmapping. Deep knowledge of UI patterns, accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and micro-frontends. Solid understanding of web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), performance optimisation. Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST/GraphQL) and real-time data (WebSockets/SSE). Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Bonus Skills Experience building enterprise dashboards, analytics tooling, or financial UI workflows. Knowledge of D3.js, Recharts, or other data visualization libraries. Exposure to Web3 wallet flows, signing flows, cryptographic interactions. Familiarity with design systems such as Chakra, MUI, AntD, or custom in-house systems. Understanding of server-side rendering and edge rendering. Soft Skills Strong ownership mentality and ability to operate with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and ability to translate complex problems into simple outcomes. Ability to mentor and guide a UI team while staying hands-on with code. Strong sense of user empathy and design thinking. What You’ll Get Opportunity to shape UI architecture for high-scale financial and Web3 systems.
