Job Description: As the Vice President of Treasury at Barclays Finance, you play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization. Your main focus involves managing funding and investment activities for the India branch, overseeing the INR investment portfolio, and actively engaging in ALCO forums and regulatory matters. Your expertise in handling INR and FCY funding, fixed income investments, and Treasury governance is vital for ensuring the financial health and success of the India franchise. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Treasury interactions and meet regulatory and rating agency expectations. - Drive investment strategy and oversee issuance programs with precision and accountability. - Supervise India business-related funding requirements and engage in PLC India ALCO meetings. - Develop and execute trading strategies aligned with the bank's risk appetite and investment goals. - Conduct trades, maintain accurate trading records, and monitor market trends to adjust strategies. - Analyze global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events for trading opportunities and risk assessment. - Manage and monitor risks associated with the trading portfolio.
