Internship Overview: We are offering two exciting internship opportunities in our MICE Operations (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) division based in Bangalore . As an MICE intern, you will be involved in supporting the planning, execution, and documentation management for our MICE events, contributing to the overall success of the operations. Internship Purpose: The MICE Internship role will focus on assisting in the planning, execution, and management of MICE events. You will support various operational tasks, gather data, prepare reports, and contribute to the smooth execution of MICE projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Event Planning and Execution Support: Assist in the planning and coordination of MICE events, including tracking project progress and managing timelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure that all logistics and details are arranged for smooth event execution. 2. Project Management Support: Help gather data and prepare detailed reports to support decision-making during event planning and execution. Assist in tracking the progress of ongoing MICE projects and provide updates to the team. 3. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records for MICE event documentation. Support with organizing files and relevant documents to ensure smooth coordination of events. Assist in generating reports on event progress and outcomes. 4. Client and Vendor Communication: Communicate with clients and vendors to gather necessary event details and ensure that all requirements are met. Assist in liaising with external partners and stakeholders involved in MICE events. 5. Process Improvement and Compliance: Assist in identifying opportunities for improving the event planning and execution process to minimize delays and streamline operations. Ensure adherence to company policies and best practices in event management. 6. Collaboration and Day-to-Day Operations: Contribute to day-to-day operations, providing support to team members and helping with various administrative tasks. Offer ideas and suggestions for improving event processes and enhancing the overall event experience. Key Requirements: Education: Graduate in Travel & Tourism , Event Management , or a related field. Experience: Previous experience or interest in event management or the travel industry is advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills . Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with event management software is a bonus. Preferred: Knowledge of MICE event documentation and event logistics . Familiarity with international travel regulations and event processes . Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a dynamic team environment. Internship Duration: The internship will be for 6 months (can be extended based on performance). Why FCM India?
