Training Specialist (Contractual Role)

The Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering customer and internal technical training courses / programs targeting new hire orientation, product and applications training, etc. and for providing an efficient and effective support service to the local, regional and global Training team.The Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering customer and internal technical training courses / programs targeting new hire orientation, product and applications training, etc. and for providing an efficient and effective support service to the local, regional and global Training team.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Design and conduct international and national technical trainings (face-to-face, online) for internal sales force and customers, incl. preparation and debriefing
• Conceptual design, implementation and utilization of digital learning formats (e. g. web-based training, virtual classroom, video tutorials and others) within blended learning concepts
• Collaborate with internal experts and external vendors to deliver training courses for internal employees
• Analyze training needs and evaluate training interventions
• Produce and adapt learning content
• Coordinate trainings and events for different target groups and active support of sales force
  

Experiences

• University degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Science or comparable scientific degree
• High understanding of processes and applications in Life Sciences and / or Biotechnology, preferably in downstream processing applications
• First professional experience in the Life Science and / or Biopharmaceutical Industry in downstream processing, preferable including knowledge of Sartorius product portfolio, ideally in Sales or Technical training would be a plus
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to accurately work with databases, spreadsheets (Excel) and software packages
• High affinity to digital learning formats
• High customer orientation, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to explain complex topics efficiently to all levels, intercultural competencies
