Job Description

Responsibilities: May include but are not limited to -Reviewing all incoming letters of credit, including L/C drafts, for compliance and financial assessment to mitigate potential risks, especially related to confirmation, reimbursements and financial ratings. -Co-ordination with overseas offices and banking team to ensure that risk mitigation policies are complied with and corrective actions are taken on an immediate basis or red-flags raised in a timely manner. -Knowledge of Pre and Post shipment documentation -Experience in scrutinizing of LC, BL and third party certificates. -Preparation and checking of Final Documents. -Coordinating with Freight Forwarders, Shipping line, Inspection agencies etc. located worldwide. -Updating status in SAP/GTS/MIS Required experience, skills and knowledge: Must have knowledge of international ocean cargo process Good Written and Verbal communication skills Exposure to banking operations and requirements, as required Sound knowledge of MS word, Excel, Internet, PDF etc. Candidates with working knowledge of SAP will be given preference. Note - The Traineeship period will be of 1 year
