Data Research Associate- Trainee

Role Overview

The Trainee Data Research Associate will support the research and data operations team by collecting, validating, and organizing data for various business campaigns across industries such as Retail E-Commerce, Healthcare, B2B IT, Hospitality, EdTech, and more. The role involves using digital research tools, online databases, and internal systems to gather accurate and actionable data for client and internal projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct online research to gather relevant data for different client campaigns (emails, contacts, company details, product info, market trends, etc.).

  • Work on data enrichment, cleansing, validation, and formatting as per project requirements.

  • Use tools like LinkedIn, Google, company websites, CRM, and other research platforms.

  • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and complete data output.

  • Support campaign teams by delivering timely researched data for outreach, marketing, and sales processes.

  • Maintain reports, documentation, and progress tracking sheets.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements for each project.

  • Adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance standards during research.

  • Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or incorrect data and correct them proactively.

    • Skills Required

  • Strong internet research skills.

  • Good communication skills (written & verbal).

  • Basic analytical ability and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with MS Excel / Google Sheets / CRM tools.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, databases, or research platforms (preferred, not mandatory).

  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to various industry domains.

  • Team-oriented, with good time management and multitasking ability.

    • Educational Qualification

    Graduate/Undergraduate (Any stream – BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA, BSc preferred).
