Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tour Package Head to lead our tour operations team. The ideal candidate will oversee package design, vendor management, client coordination, pricing strategy, and team performance. This role requires strong leadership, destination knowledge, strategic planning, and the ability to manage end-to-end domestic & international travel operations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, guide, and supervise the tour package team (executives, coordinators, and vendors).
• Develop strategic plans to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance package offerings.
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of all bookings and client requests.

Operations & Planning

• Create, design, and approve detailed domestic and international tour packages.
• Oversee itinerary planning, costing, quotations, and final package presentation.
• Ensure accuracy in pricing, vendor agreements, and customer proposals.

Vendor & Partner Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, transport providers, DMCs, and travel partners.
• Negotiate competitive rates and ensure quality services from vendors.

Client Coordination

• Handle high-value clients and complex itineraries.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure smooth travel experiences for all clients.

Monitoring & Quality Control

• Maintain records of bookings, vendor contracts, customer details, and invoices.
• Ensure quality standards, timely communication, and high satisfaction levels.
• Keep updated with travel trends, airline rules, visa guidelines, and destination insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in tour operations, travel agency management, or tourism leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of domestic & international destinations, pricing, and travel logistics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and travel software/portals.
• Strong negotiation, customer-handling, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients and teams simultaneously.
