An International Tour Package Sales Executive is responsible for driving the sale of global travel products and services to clients, developing customized itineraries, and building lasting customer relationships. This role requires a deep knowledge of international destinations, strong sales acumen, and excellent communication skills. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tour Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and coordinating travel experiences, from initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a passion for travel, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.  Key Responsibilities Itinerary Planning: Design and optimize end-to-end travel itineraries for group and private tours, ensuring they are appealing, logistically feasible, and meet client needs. Supplier Management & Negotiation: Source, vet, and negotiate rates with various service providers, including hotels, airlines, transport companies, and local guides to ensure competitive pricing and quality service. Booking and Reservations: Manage all bookings, payments, and confirmations using computer reservation systems (CRS) or booking software, maintaining accurate records and handling documentation like tickets and vouchers. Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for travelers, providing support before, during, and after trips. Advise clients on travel requirements (visas, passports, customs), answer inquiries, and resolve any unexpected issues or complaints calmly and professionally. Financial Management: Track budgets, process invoices, collect payments, manage refunds, and ensure all financial transactions are accurate and timely. Marketing & Sales Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on trip content and promotional materials. May be involved in promoting and selling tour packages to potential customers. Required Qualifications and Skills Experience: Proven work experience as a Tour Operator, Travel Agent, or in a similar role within the travel industry (2+ years preferred; entry-level considered with relevant education/passion). Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various domestic and/or international travel destinations, local customs, and travel regulations. Technical Proficiency: Confident user of computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and travel reservation software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre GDS systems). Core Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional problem-solving ability and adaptability under pressure. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets effectively. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus. Languages: Fluency in English is required; multilingualism is a strong asset when dealing with diverse clients and international suppliers.
