Tour Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Tour Consultant to join our travel agency team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in planning and booking their travel experiences, ensuring they receive top-tier service and customized itineraries. The role requires strong customer service skills, destination knowledge, and the ability to manage travel arrangements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Service & Sales

• Assist clients in selecting suitable travel packages based on their preferences and budget.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, attractions, transportation, and accommodation.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Upsell and cross-sell travel services, including flights, hotels, tours, and travel insurance.

2. Tour Planning & Coordination

• Design customized travel itineraries for individuals, groups, and corporate clients.
• Book flights, hotels, transportation, and guided tours.
• Coordinate with tour operators, airlines, and hotels for seamless travel experiences.
• Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, or emergencies efficiently.

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Assist clients with visa applications, travel insurance, and other necessary documents.
• Ensure compliance with travel regulations, including health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client preferences.

4. Market Research & Industry Updates

• Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and promotions.
• Build relationships with travel suppliers and negotiate the best deals for clients.
• Provide feedback to the agency on customer preferences and market demands.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in travel and tourism is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of popular travel destinations, airlines, and tour packages.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for travel and a customer-oriented approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹144,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per year
