Global Headcount of group exceeds 30,000+ Location: Mumbai, India Reports to: Design Engineer Expert Essential Duties & Responsibilities Experience in the selection of tool steels to be used in tooling designs. Proficient in high precision, close tolerance tooling designs. Proficient in SolidWorks 3D & Pro-E. Proficient in the metric system of measurement. Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment. Ability to conceptualize, design & communicate technical information. Professionally interface with engineering, purchasing groups, & outside vendors. Must be innovative, resourceful, & disciplined when resolving technical challenges. Education & Experience Requirements Diploma in Tool & Die making with 3-4 years recent experience with Mechanical Design of Precision Jig & Fixture Design Critical Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies: Must have good mechanical skills Tooling qualification preferably from NTTF (Preferred) , GTTC, CITD, CTTC At least 3-4 years experience in tool design. Must be able to use tooling equipment in assembly line Must know Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information regarding all materials used within the scope of the work. Do you have knowledge of machining techniques, CAD/CAM, CNC programming, quality control, and material science?
