Job Profile Tool & Die Maker & Tool & Die Designer

1. Prepare tool design
2. Design for Raw material optimization
3. Costing of part
4. Knowledge of tool designing software
5. Ensure All Tools are ready within the agreed timeline

1. Make the Gantt chart for every die project.
2. Decide execution to done in-house or outsource
3. In case of outsource, work closely with the vendor to get the tool ready & proved within agreed timeline
4. In case in-house manufacturing, planning, manufacturing and proving the tool
5. Make PR for the required material & follow up with the Purchase for timely receipt of it
6. Team leader
7. Periodic die maintenance & calibration ensuring tools are always ready for production
8. Able to identify the life of the tool
9. Identify the critical spares required for the tools and keep them ready before failure

Requisite Qualifications Essential

NTTF/ Diploma in Tool & Die Making

Preferred

Experience in Tool Designing and Manufacturing for Progressive Tooling (Fine Blanking)

Note:- Employees who do not meet the qualification criteria but have substantial work experience in related area / function may also apply for the position. However, the final shortlist will be decided based on the requisite qualification criteria commensurate to the position requirements.

4 years & above work experience

Relevant work experience in Tool & Stamping Industry preferably for Progressive Tooling

Special Skills Required Essential

- Knowledge of CAD software for tooling
- Knowledge of Progressive Tool designing for Fine Blanking- Working Knowledge of Sheet metal processing, tooling, - Knowledge of compound die manufacturing- Knowledge of progressive die manufacturing- Knowledge of die correction, die maintenance, productivity improvement- Die Proving within agreed timeline.
