Job Title: HR ManagerCompany: Tirupati Travels & Goods Service Pvt. Ltd.Location: Pune (Viman Nagar)Reports To: Director Department: Human Resources Role Purpose: The Human Resources HR will lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions at Tirupati Travels & Goods Service Pvt. Ltd., ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with the company's operational and business goals. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can manage a geographically dispersed blue-collar workforce along with corporate and regional office teams.This position demands strong skills in policy design, industrial relations, compliance, leadership development, and employee engagement , coupled with an ability to take a strategic view of the organizations peoples agenda. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Leadership Develop and execute a long-term HR roadmap aligned with Tirupatis business vision and growth objectives. Serve as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and business heads on workforce planning, cost optimization, and talent strategy. Introduce systems for manpower forecasting, performance measurement, and productivity improvement. Build organizational capability to support business expansion, technology adoption, and operational efficiency. 2. Policy Formulation & Governance Design and implement comprehensive HR policies covering recruitment, onboarding, compensation, performance management, and separation. Create policies tailored to the logistics sector — including driver conduct, fleet crew welfare, travel norms, and safety protocols. Develop transparent systems for leave, attendance, and wage management across multiple depots and regions. Establish clear grievance redressal, disciplinary, and compliance procedures. Periodically review and update policies in line with changing laws, business needs, and best practices. 3. Workforce & Blue-Collar & Sales Team Management Lead end-to-end HR operations for employees Implement structured hiring, retention, and welfare programs 4. Talent Management & Leadership Development Design and drive talent acquisition strategies for managerial and operational roles. Develop competency frameworks and performance management systems for all levels. Identify and groom future leaders within the organization through targeted learning and mentoring programs. 5. Culture, Engagement & Welfare Build a people-first culture emphasizing discipline, respect, teamwork, and accountability. Lead engagement activities for employees — including recognition events, welfare schemes Promote a culture of safety, ethics, and transparency across all departments. Ensure driver well-being through health checks, insurance, rest facilities, and emergency support programs. 6. Compliance, Legal & Risk Management Mitigate HR risks through structured documentation, contracts, and policy controls. Maintain strong coordination with legal and finance teams for contract labor and wage disbursement compliance. 7. HR Systems, Analytics & Technology Use data analytics to monitor attrition, absenteeism, cost per hire, and workforce productivity. Leverage technology to streamline HR processes and improve decision-making. 8. Business Partnership & Organizational Development Act as an internal consultant to business units on people and organization matters. Support restructuring, process improvement, and expansion plans with appropriate HR strategies. Advise management on workforce implications of new business opportunities, fleet expansion, or diversification. Strengthen communication between management and ground-level staff for operational alignment. 9. Stakeholder & External Relations Liaise with government departments, labor offices, and industry associations on regulatory matters. Represent the company in labor forums and external stakeholder meetings. Manage HR vendor relationships — manpower agencies, training partners, welfare consultants, etc. Qualifications & Experience Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field. Experience: 10–15 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within logistics, transport, or manufacturing. Proven experience managing large blue-collar and field-based workforce. Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, and HR policy design. Experience with multi-location workforce management is highly desirable.
