Job Description

Job Summary: The Senior Welder is responsible for performing TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding operations on various components such as cooler tanks, hot water tanks, frames, and other parts used in the production of water purifiers. The role ensures high-quality welding results, optimal material usage, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. The Senior Welder is also responsible for maintaining welding equipment, minimizing defects, and providing guidance in welding practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. TIG Welding Operations Perform TIG welding on water purifier components such as cooler tanks, hot water tanks, frames, and trays, ensuring precision and high-quality welds. Maintain consistency in weld quality across different components, ensuring each welded part meets the required structural and aesthetic standards. 2. Material Optimization Optimize the usage of welding materials such as electrodes, filler wire, and shielding gas to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency. Ensure minimal material wastage during the welding process by following best practices and applying efficient welding techniques. 3. Quality Assurance Monitor welding processes to minimize defects, ensuring welds are clean, strong, and free from issues such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion. Maintain a high standard of quality for each welded component, adhering to company specifications and industry standards. 4. Heat Control During Welding Monitor and control the heat input during welding operations to prevent overheating or underheating, which could lead to defects or weakened welds. Ensure that the temperature is regulated appropriately for each type of material being welded. 5. Repair and Rework Minimization Apply welding techniques that minimize the need for repair or rework on defective welds, ensuring that initial welds are done correctly. Troubleshoot any welding issues promptly and take necessary steps to correct defects or errors. 6.
