Job Description

Core Responsibilities Windows Server Management: Oversee and maintain Windows Server environments, particularly versions 2012 and 2022. Domain Controller Migration: Lead projects to migrate domain controllers to new servers, ensuring minimal disruption. Windows Deployment Services (WDS): Configure and manage WDS for efficient OS deployment across the network. Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS): Administer ADDS, including user and group management, and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs). System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM): Utilize SCCM for patch management, software deployment, and system monitoring. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP): Manage DHCP scopes and ensure reliable IP address allocation. Domain Name System (DNS): Configure and maintain DNS records to support network operations. Server Backup and Recovery: Implement regular backup procedures for both physical and virtual servers. BitLocker Encryption: Manage BitLocker encryption to enhance data security. Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows 10 and 11 issues, both in domain and workgroup settings. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering skill development.The ICT Guy ✅ Essential Skills & Qualifications Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server 2012 and 2022. WDS: Experience in deploying operating systems using Windows Deployment Services. ADDS & GPO: Strong understanding of Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policy Objects. SCCM: Hands-on experience with System Center Configuration Manager for system management. DHCP & DNS: Knowledge of DHCP and DNS configurations. BitLocker: Experience in implementing BitLocker encryption. Server Migration: Familiarity with server migration processes. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Windows-related issues.
