Employment Type: Project-Based Contract Role Overview The Program Safety Manager will lead and implement all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across assigned projects in KSA. This role ensures compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal regulations as well as company and client standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and client representatives to establish a proactive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans aligned with project scope and client requirements. Ensure compliance with local, global standards and other applicable regional safety regulations. Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and job safety analyses (JSAs) for project activities. Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and weekly safety meetings with project teams and subcontractors. Perform site safety inspections and audits, documenting findings and driving corrective actions. Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective/preventive measures. Support contractor/vendor safety qualification and compliance monitoring. Maintain accurate safety records, metrics, and reporting to project and client leadership. Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and training activities. Promote a “zero-injury” culture, actively engaging with the workforce to reinforce safe behaviours. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST, CRSP, NEBOSH, OSHA 30/510, or equivalent). 7+ years of progressive safety management experience, including project-based assignments. Strong working knowledge of KSA regulatory frameworks (OSHA, CSA, NFPA, ANSI). Demonstrated experience managing EHS on large-scale construction, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial projects. Proven ability to lead teams, engage contractors, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
