Your role will require strong communication skills, a commitment to mentoring, and the ability to engage students in their learning journey. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students. - Teach mathematics concepts effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding among students. - Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain an orderly classroom environment conducive to learning. - Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to support students who may require additional assistance. - Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments, providing constructive feedback. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices. - Engage in scientific research related to educational methodologies in mathematics education. - Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. **Qualifications Required:** - A degree in Mathematics or a related field; additional qualifications in Biochemistry or Laboratory experience are advantageous. - Proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at the relevant educational level. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. - Experience in behaviour management strategies within an educational setting. - Familiarity with special education needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly. - Proficiency in proofreading academic materials for clarity and accuracy.
