Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated TGT Maths teacher to join our Podar International School team in Arsikere. This full-time, mid-level position requires 4 to 6 years of experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level. The candidate will be responsible for delivering effective maths instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for students. This is an exciting opportunity for educators who are passionate about shaping the minds of the next generation. Qualifications and Skills Must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree (Mandatory skill). Experience in lesson planning tailored to different learning styles (Mandatory skill). Expertise in mathematics instruction with a focus on secondary education (Mandatory skill). Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address and support student challenges. Proficiency in classroom management to create and maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Exceptional time management skills to balance classroom activities and administrative tasks. Capacity to motivate and engage students with creative teaching methodologies. Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Roles and Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons for secondary grade students. Assess and evaluate student progress through class work, assignments, and tests. Develop instructional material and learning resources that enhance understanding. Foster a motivating and stimulating classroom environment for student learning. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational practices and curriculum planning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and achievements.
