 JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Textile Designer Experience Required : Fresher to 2 Year Salary Range : 20,000/- Per month (Based on Experience) Preferrence : Candidates from NIFT ,NID would be more preferred. Job Description : We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Textile Designer who designs and develops fabric patterns for furnishing industry. Textile Designer should have a keen interest and proficiency in designing sketches , work with various materials and colour palettes and must ensure designs are on trend and meet production standards. Roles & Responsibilities : 1. Design & Development : · Conceptualize and create original textile designs . · Develop design sketches and colour ways for fabric designs. · Utilize CAD software like (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva ) for detailed design development and technical drawings. · Create and manage sample designs and prototypes. 2. Material & Colour Selection : · Source and select appropriate fabrics, materials and colour palettes based on design concepts and target market trends. · Understand the properties and characteristics of various textile materials. 3. Production & Quality Control : · Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products. 4. Trend Research & Forecasting : · Research and analyse current and emerging trends in the furnishing and textile industry. · Identify and interpret key trends in colour , pattern and material usage. Skill & Qualification : · Strong artistic skills , including sketching, painting and pattern designs. · Proficiency in computer – aided design software. · Knowledge of textile materials, production processes. · Ability to work independently. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · A keen eye for colour, pattern and texture. · Understanding of market trends and customer preferences. · A degree in textile design, fashion design ,or a related field is generally preferred.
