.NET Core Lead Job Description Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated .NET Core Lead to join our dynamic team. As a lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing software development projects, managing a team, and contributing hands-on to the codebase. Team Leadership: o Manage and motivate a team of developers, ensuring efficient project execution. o Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members. o Foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration.
Technical Expertise: o Lead by example and actively participate in coding, code reviews, and architectural discussions. o Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry trends. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and requirements.
Project Management: o Oversee all test activities, track progress, and report status. o Manage expectations and communicate effectively on test progression and product defects. o Participate in code reviews (both internal and external) to maintain quality. Software Development: o Develop software solutions using .NET Core, adhering to design principles and standards. o Build and maintain automated trading algorithms, trade operations, and risk management systems. o Gather requirements from portfolio managers and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications: Education: o Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: o At least 7 years of experience in software development methodologies. o Strong knowledge of .NET Core (version 4.6+). o Experience managing projects built on Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and web services. o Familiarity with LESS or SASS is a plus.
Skills: o Proficiency in C# and Web API development. o Basic financial analysis principles and ratios. o Understanding of business goals and financial services industry.
Certifications (Preferred): o ITIL, AWS, MS, TOGAF, MCSD, IAT2, PMP, IAM, CE, II.
