Your role involves executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities : Test Case Execution : Execute manual and/or automated test cases to validate software functionality. Conduct tests according to established test plans and procedures. Defect Identification and Reporting : Identify, document, and report software defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in resolution. Regression Testing : Perform regression testing to ensure that new developments do not negatively impact existing functionalities. Update and maintain regression test suites. Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication. Documentation : Document test cases, test results, and testing procedures in a clear and organized manner. Contribute to the improvement of testing documentation standards. Test Environment Setup : Set up and configure test environments to simulate real-world usage scenarios. Collaborate with system administrators to address environment-related issues. Automation (Optional) : Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts. Collaborate with the automation team to enhance automated testing processes. Continuous Learning : Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and new technologies. Attend training sessions or conferences to enhance testing skills.
