Role Overview:
Responsible for testing and validating card issuance processes, ensuring compliance with payment network standards and secure transaction flows.
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional and integration testing for card issuance systems (credit, debit, prepaid).
Validate ISO 8583 message formats for card-related transactions (authorization, activation, PIN management).
Execute certification and simulation tests using Visa and Mastercard simulators for card issuance and personalization.
Ensure compliance with network mandates and regulatory requirements during card lifecycle testing.
Analyze transaction logs, debug failures, and provide detailed defect reports.
Collaborate with development, product, and network teams for issue resolution and certification readiness.
Skills & Expertise
Strong knowledge of card issuance lifecycle (application, embossing, activation, PIN generation).
Hands-on experience with ISO 8583 message parsing and validation.
Proficiency in Visa/Mastercard certification simulators for card issuance testing.
Familiarity with Card Management Systems (CMS) and personalization systems.
Understanding of EMV standards, cryptography basics, and key management for card issuance.
