Job Description

As a Tester with strong expertise in ETL, database, and application/dashboard, familiar with AWS PLatformand should have a solid background in testing methodologies and tools, with a focus on data integrity and quality assurance in ETL processes. Key Responsibilities: ETL Testing: Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes to ensure data is accurately transformed and loaded. Validate data integrity and accuracy across various data sources and targets. Database Testing: Perform database testing using SQL to verify data consistency, integrity, and accuracy. Design and execute SQL queries to validate data and conduct backend testing. Application/Dashboard Testing: Collaborate with development teams to ensure application features meet specifications. Test dashboards and reports for accuracy and usability, ensuring that end-user requirements are met. Test Planning and Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Document defects, track progress, and report on testing activities. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts. Participate in requirements gathering and design discussions to provide input on testability. Automation: Identify opportunities for automation in testing processes and contribute to automation efforts where applicable. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ETL tools. Familiar with AWS Platform. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (eg, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). Familiarity with testing tools (eg, JIRA, Selenium, TestRail). Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify issues. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
