Tester

Role Overview: As a Tester at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for testing new features with an end-to-end business view to ensure the business outcome meets the required standards. You will advocate for test automation tools and implement them for regression testing. Additionally, you will be involved in setting up the test environment and creating test data with a deep functional understanding of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and plans. - Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts. - Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing. - Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to comprehend system functionality. - Validate data processing logic, particularly in batch and online environments. - Engage in defect management, including logging, tracking, and verifying fixes. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and assisting users. - Contribute to test automation initiatives where feasible. - Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and documentation requirements. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Banking/Finance Domain and Functional test preparation & execution. - Proficiency in Test Management/test planning activities, designing test cases, user story/script creation and execution. - Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, and Agile Games. - Familiarity with various test levels and types including white/black box, system, performance, integration, and regression testing. - Experience with ALM test management tool and Agile Team management tools like JIRA and Confluence. - Excellent communication skills to translate complex business processes and technical designs into understandable language. - Strong test reporting skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments while managing priorities effectively.
